Packing Specification

  • A
    All the items will be individually and carefully wrapped using soft papers brown wrapping papers & padded heavy duty corrugated papers.

    B
    Bubble plastic will be used to wrap the elecronic and extra fragile items.

    C
    Thermo coal will be used to provide shock-breakers, if and where required.

    D

    Moisture proof ply wrapping is provided on virtually all the goods to combat moisture.

    Silica gel packs may be used, if required at strategic places, to further compbat moisture (by abosorbing it)

    Moth preventives such as tobacco / moth papers /naphthalenae balls / black papers corns are used where require ( e.g. with carpets and clothes).

    Furniture would be wrapped in moisture-proof poly and than made shock-proof with corrugated padded papers. As a special protection for the legs and back we also used molded 5 ply and 7 ply sheets in addition. Lacquered and polished furniture will be protected fron scratches by first wrapping in soft mislin cloth or brown papers. Bubble wrap will also be used wherever required.

    Glassware, crystal chinaware and such fragile items will be individually packed in tissue / brown papers and corrugated paper / buble plastic, and placed in extra- stron 7 ply or 9 ply cartons.

    All glass frames, larges pictures / paintings / mirrors and statues would be wrapped in shock-proof material and further placed into special cartons /boxes or wooden crates. Glass/mirrors would also be taped with shatterproof tape.

    J
    Clothes and linen would be packed into extra large cartons or minimize folding / creasing of flat wordrobe catons or hanging wardrobe cartons / boxes (if required).

    Books and papers will be placed in stronge and smaller cartons , constructed support the weight.
